The training goals of a prospective or current member of the United States Military are very similar to that of an athlete. Work capacity, speed, strength and mobility all play a role in how well a given service member will function in the field, which is why we train these characteristics in the military program.  Also, since work capacity (endurance) is a key characteristic for this group, we closely monitor internal load using Polar2 Heart rate monitors so we can determine how much stress is placed upon them in session.
